Giusti was runner up for the Stories category of the World Press Photo 2010 for this sequence of images - '.Sapologie'. The project embodies the style of a Third World Satorialist. Giusti has documented some of the more eccentric locals of Congo-Brazzaville. The project goes beyond fashion and borders on an anthropological documentary with its focus on the mimicking of 'western' style. The style appears rather to be an amalgalm of both 'western' and the local Congolese take on sartorial fashion. What underlies this is a narrative on the aspirations of the indigenous local elites.
